Guys, this is a last resort, and I will probably never be able to drink it again, but I am looking for a wine from New Zealand... Can you help?

Hello Wine,

Long story short... Between 2006 and 2010 I lived in the UK, and between 2008 and 2010 (not sure when) I used to go to this wine shop (it was a chain, but I cannot recall the name) where you got the third bottle for free if you bought two. The wine was a white wine from New Zealand with a rather distinctive taste of anise/licorice... When I bought the wine it was about two to three years old. I have no clue as to which grapes it contained, nor do I know which part of the country produced it... None of the supermarkets sold it at that time, and I have never tasted anything similar in any other country... Anyone knows what I am talking about?

Edit: I believe the price was between GBP 11 and 15 (maybe USD 20 to 25 on the US market, though I am unsure when it comes to pricing differences across continents)...

Best,

Huskatta
