Drinking and sleep quality.


Hello, not sure if this is the right place for this but hoping I could get some help.


Anytime I have a glass of wine or two (even with dinner), my sleep quality takes a nosedive. I will wake up inexplicably after 2-3 hours and toss/turn all night, typically waking up feeling like death.


The obvious answer is "don't drink", but this is problematic as I just got a new position in wine/spirits sales and regularly am hosting tastings where I'm required to try stuff, and get to bring a lot of free product home (that and I love wine).


Does anyone else have a similar problem/a fix for this? I sometimes just take a few benadryl in the middle of the night to knock me back out.
