I'm not sure whether it's just me... (probably is), but every now and again I get really excited knowing that I'm about to open a bottle of XXXX that evening. I have several moments throughout the day just thinking about the taste and just can't wait to crack it open. This usually happens when it's a bottle of Tobin James Ballistic (2010 was the best vintage IMO), it's not even an insanely expensive buy, about $20 give or take, but it's a wine that holds a deep history with me and I just absolutely love it from aroma, to taste to follow through. Am i just crazy or do other people have the same reaction to certain wines when they know their on the horizon?
