Ok, everyone knows I love my ClubW membership. I get several bottles of month, and it's usually a pretty good matches for my tastes.
This month is 2012 9 Sisters Syrah... it's definately a New World Wine, it doesn't have that Petrichor taste that I associate with Old World wines. It has a medium finish, it isn't immediately gone but it doesn't over stay its welcome.
The most distinct thing about it's taste to me is a distinct hint of Smokey Bacon.
Is this an accurate description for a Syrah?
