A lady that I work with gave me a few bottles of wine. She had gotten them as gifts over the years, but doesn't drink wine. In the mix was a 2005 Terra d'Oro Zinfandel from Amador County. I have read that Zinfandels don't hold up as well as Cabs or Shiraz... What are the chances of this one still being good. I have no idea how/where it was stored. But it is 10 years old now.
I am pretty sure I am going to pour out the 2006 Polka Dot Reisling... :-)
edit: I was just trying to get an idea of if it would be a good idea to share with others, or if it should be a wine that I sample and enjoy by myself.
