I first started reviewing whiskey before wine, so when it came to wine all I took note of was color|nose|palate|overall|score of the wine. But I know wine critics have a bigger range of things to take note of, such as acidity levels (I've heard people say medium+; what is it?), the dryness and such.
I've never went too far into reviewing whiskey except the nose and the palate, and I'm very new to reviewing wine. What should I be taking notes of?
I found this form that covers a lot of the things I asked, but I'd like to be able to decipher wine like an expert (I hope I don't come off too douchebag-ish when saying this). Are there guides to how I can take notes/deciphering wines? I'm not just looking for tasting charts, but a rundown of all the things covered when a pro reviews his wine.
