Hi r/wine I have some trouble with picking the right wines, for my dinner. Abd I hope that you guys could help me out. the prise per bottle should be in the range of 10$-15$. And there will be one new bottle per dish. My menu looks like this: Grilled salmon with marinade. I have thought of using the chardonnay Viognier. The next dish is: Portobello mushrooms with phila-cheese and bacon on top. I have a muscat in mind, but not sure at all. My main dish is either a newyorker steak, og a rip-eye, with baked potatoes, and mushroom sauce. I am almost 100% sure, that the wine who will be served with this dish, will be the tator primitivo. I am in love with primitivo, and I really think it mixed up real nice with the steak. But, if you have another great wine I should add to the dish, I will surely take that into account. I have not made up my mind, regarding the next dish. I had some cheese and crackers in mind, but I am finding that quite boring. And I have no clue what wine to add. Lastly, the dessert. That would be the chocolate mousse, and I have thought of a port wine. If you have any comment, or recommendation please leave it below, I would really appreciate it.
EDIT: I meant: I have thought of using a chardonnay viognier.
