My girlfriend and I are being torn apart by wine. Please help.

Hey all,

I have recently been exposed to the art of wine-drinking. It was way more varied and complex than I expected and imagined. Growing up, my family was not well to do and wine was an infrequent luxury. I was introduced to wine by my girlfriend, who is doing Wines and Spirits study in France.

We have been together for years, we met in South America and had wonderful travels up South and through Central America, Europe and Asia over the years. I have changed the course of my life to be close to her, and so has she. Some days I find myself finding the right words to use when I eventually propose to her.

All this might not come to fruition. Her studies require her to do an internship in a wine and spirits company. Try as we had, her only offer letter is a company in Argentina. This spells geographical separation for an extended period of time, which almost certainly means going our separate ways; we've talked about it.

Fellow redditors, I am at my wits end. I have come to you for help. Do you know someone that can offer her an internship interview in Europe? All she needs is an interview, I have faith in her. Thanks.
