How do sommeliers get a hold of so much wine to test their palate on?


I finished watching Somme last month and enjoyed it a lot - the only thing that bothered me is... how did those 4 guys gain access to so much wine without going backrupt to study off of before taking the exam?


1-2 of the guys worked in the restaurant business. The other 2 I don't know.
