A new growler place just opened near me. I have just purchased my first growler of wine.
They fill from a tap, air in the top so you want to drink it fairly quickly. It's a neat idea though and the price is probably 20% cheaper than off the shelf, especially when you account for a full 32 oz (almost 25% more than a 75 ml bottle)
I'm excited to try it tonight and see how it goes. If it's like I hope, it might make my commute home a little longer every couple nights.
Right now, only about 10 wines on tap, but they just signed a new distributor and say they'll get lots more.
Has anyone else seen these in their area? I'm in Oregon, Willamette valley, just outside the Yamhill region.
