Right off the bat I'll admit I know nothing about wine, but I certainly do enjoy it. I was just wondering what was the actual difference between corks and metal twist offs. From what I've heard, after there was a bad batch of corks in France in the 90s a lot of companies, switched to the twist off to prevent rotting and ruining of wine. But after new cork was found most of those companies did not make the switch back. I'm curious what a forum of wine experts would have to say on the subject.
