My predictions:
- Prices for top Bordeaux will continue to fall
- Northern Rhone prices will continue to spike (sadly)
- We'll continue to see a greater divide in US wine making, as smaller "balanced" producers continue to rise and grow, and the "old guard" continues to make their "big wines"
- I predict US Chardonnay will return to popularity amongst the snobs (myself included)
I'm most excited by what's happening with domestic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
