Hi r/wine
I need a little help. My wife found a bottle of wine in a crawl space at a estate sale a few years ago and I'd like to know more about what we've got on our hands.
It's a Beringer Pinot Noir and the bittke says "Estate 1970 Bottled."
Now, I know Beringer is a standard $10 bottle but I also understand that Beringer was highly regarded back in the '70s. So I'd like to know which this bottle is. I'd hate to drink it and then find out that it was valuable. Any help would be appreciated.
Here's the Bottle (bonus dog in the background)
