I was gifted a 1994 bottle of Crystal Champagne with gold flakes and it was in my cabinet for a while. Last night, my girlfriend and I wanted to toast something and we opened it because it was champagne. Poured it in glasses with ice and it tasted bad, so I dumped it. Today, I looked it up and saw how valuable that bottle was. Oops!
