Are bubbles as popular everywhere else as they are in NY?

Hello Everyone,

I work in a small wine shop in Brooklyn, NY and I know we sell a ton of sparkling wine. I was just curious if this was a phenomenon on the coasts or if a lot of bubbles are being sold and drank in the center of the country as well. Whenever I go back to Colorado, I am always disappointed in the selections I see in shops and I'm curious if this is due to a lack of interest or a lack of product or something else entirely...
